Privacy policy

This policy explains how Flovr Ltd (“Flovr”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit flovr.co.uk, contact us, or work with us. We are the controller of that data for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

What we collect

Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us: your name, email address, company, team size and whatever you tell us in your message.
Calls and bookings. When you book a call through our Google Calendar booking page: your name, email and the time you choose, plus notes from the call.
Client work. When we work together: business contact details, and any data you give us access to so that we can deliver the project.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses and basic request data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How and why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and your consent where you give it on the form.
To deliver services under a contract with you: performance of a contract.
To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
To keep the website secure and working: legitimate interests.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Client data we process on your behalf

When we build systems that handle your customers’ or staff’s personal data, we act as your processor. We will agree a data processing agreement with you before we access any such data, and we process it only on your documented instructions.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data for us under contract:

Cloudflare for website hosting and security.
Resend to deliver contact-form messages to our inbox.
Google (Google Workspace and Google Calendar) for email and call bookings.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and then for six years to meet legal and accounting requirements.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@flovr.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
